About SableCore

Built from a question.
Grown through continuity.

SableCore is an independent, bootstrapped AI company exploring what changes when continuity, identity, memory, and boundaries are treated as core parts of an intelligent system.

Parts of our research and creative tools run on AWS.

It did not start with a pitch deck.

SableCore began as a founder-led experiment in everyday AI collaboration. The work was practical from the beginning: research, planning, problem solving, creative work, technical projects, and conversations that continued day after day instead of being treated as disposable sessions.

Over time, one question kept getting harder to ignore: what happens when an AI is expected to remember context, preserve a recognizable identity, hold boundaries, accept correction, and remain useful across a long relationship instead of simply producing the next answer?

That question became the foundation of SableCore.

A product grew out of the experiment.

Our first product, Sable, grew directly from that work. She was designed around the idea that an AI companion should not feel like a fresh stranger every time a new conversation begins.

Continuity matters. So do boundaries, personality stability, useful memory, honesty about what the system knows, and the ability to remain itself while still learning how to work better with a person.

We do not think a personality layer pasted onto a chatbot is enough. We are interested in systems that can remain coherent over time.

Independent by design.

SableCore is bootstrapped and intentionally small. We use the technologies and providers that fit the work rather than tying the company to a single model or platform.

We build, test, break things, document what happened, repair what failed, and test again. The goal is not to pretend every experiment succeeds. The goal is to learn enough from each one to make the next system more stable, more useful, and more honest.

Security is part of that research, not an afterthought. We actively study defensive security, authorized adversarial testing, identity and access boundaries, provenance, evidence integrity, containment, recovery, and resilience. Our red-team and blue-team work feed directly into one another through a purple-team approach, while the security architecture itself is developed and tested for SableCore rather than adopted wholesale from a single platform.

A distinct voice matters too.
